undercooked calamarihard chips

the dinner room was very packed. the calamari hadnt been cooked enough. the chips were mostly hard and inedible, i found this really disappointing. on saturday, we ordered cole zero for one price, but we were charged more. the hotel does not give change for cash, this was really frustrating and ruined our weekend.

Breakfast was a beautiful start each morning. The staff was very helpful with my gluten free dietary requirements. The outdoor terrace allowed for lovely relaxation. I admired the architecture during a calm evening on the terrace.

Finding the correct temperature in the room was a bit tricky. The controls needed some getting used to. Otherwise, it was perfect.

Breakfast service included a buffet with good variety and was quite satisfying. The restaurant staff provided coffee service right at our table. It was a welcome touch. The buffet selection had gluten-free options.

I observed there was a secure parking area behind gates, giving me some peace of mind. An elevator made accessing upper floors easy. The front and back of the restaurant had an outdoor terrace.

i found the frontage very excellent on arrival. the location was convenient for a dinner i was attending. plentiful car parking space was available. i appreciated the hotel's accessibility to birmingham airport.

The Sunday breakfast service was not great. It took asking several times to get juice glasses.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. Jenny in the restaurant made James aware of the situation. I appreciated her help. Everything was clean and tidy.

I found the water from the tap cloudy. The absence of bottled water in the room was an issue. I also noticed the hotel doesn't accept cash payments at the bar.
